AGL- Offering expert knowledge
and technical solutions to the environmental industry.
History:
In 1999 AGL and Airtesting & Support Ltd combined forces to
form AGL-Airtesting. The driving force behind AGL, John Sibley, is
a specialist in ambient air monitoring while the impetus behind Airtesting & Support
Ltd, Adrian Thiedeman, is a specialist in source emission monitoring.
The new company took on a new look, focusing on rentals as well as
sales of all environmental monitoring equipment. What makes AGL-Airtesting
unique is its ability to offer specific and coherent technical advice
and support across a diverse range of rental products.
Our main business areas include:
Rentals:
All applications of environmental monitoring from ambient and clean
room monitoring to indoor air quality and noise, through to landfill
monitoring and water quality measuring are covered from hand-held
units to complete rack gas analyser systems. Emergency and designated
stand-by systems available by arrangement.
Sales:
AGL-Airtesting is unique in its field. Not only do we hire out
a vast array of products but we also sell them at very competitive
prices.
Technical Expertise:
Our major strength lies in our technical knowledge and ability.
Very few companies can display a depth of knowledge as can AGL-Airtesting.
This means being involved with current and emerging standards and
having the practical experience to do the work ourselves.
Manufacture:
We have developed a number of source and ambient samplers. On-going
developments continue with the operator in mind.
Servicing / Calibration and Repair:
We use UKAS traceable standards for our calibrations and have developed
ISO procedures for our company.
Training:
We offer a wide range of bespoke training courses from Isokinetic
Stack Sampling and VOC Monitoring to Ambient Workplace Monitoring.
In each case we make reference to current legislation and European
monitoring methods. These are run by our Training Manager Myk Devenish
(ex Warren Spring). Instrument instruction is also available on site.
All our courses for source monitoring comply with the MCerts syllabus.
We maintain a high level of stock for next day delivery. All our
products are currently posted on our web site for viewing and purchasing
at leisure. Our aim is to produce a high quality product to assist
the client in determining the correct results. All of our manufactured
equipment is designed around reference methods and is used with emission
protocols.
We believe strongly that in theory and practice, THE METHOD DETERMINES
THE RESULT. |
